Fanfare from Symphony No.1 - Rachmaninov

I first heard this fanfare when it was used as a theme tune on a Saturday afternoon on Radio Birmingham to open the sports programme and has always stayed with me. This no holds barred flourish is the very essence of exhilarating flamboyance and a great way to open your concert. It will certainly put your Trumpet section through its paces.
