About This Work

‘Cleopatra’ a drama by Pietro Cossa was first produced at the Valle Theatre, Rome, on the 20th December 1877. The music, written by Luigi Mancinelli met with great success. George Pollen has arranged the ‘Triumphal March’ from the drama for concert band bringing his inimitable style to this dramatic work. Ideal as a concert opener or semi-finale this is an excellent addition to any bands repertoire.
