About This Work
‘Band of Brothers’ tracks the story of "E" Easy Company, 506th Regiment of the 101st US Airborne Division, from their initial training starting in 1942 to the end of World War II. A fascinating tale of comradeship that is, in the end, a tale of ordinary men who did extraordinary things.
Beautifully scored for Concert Band by Colin Hales Michael Kamen’s theme to the miniseries is a popular piece amongst band musicians and audiences alike, the music being indicative of modern professional soldiers and their endeavors.
