‘Ball-Moloch’ is the second of two ragtime works for concert band, composed and arranged Keith Otis Edwards, to added to the 2009 SafeMusic catalogue. As with 'Owl Rag'‘ this infectious ragtime pastiche will give your concert a lift and provide your audience with some real, exuberant, entertainment.
Each year Keith writes a sinister rag appropriate for Halloween concerts common throughout the USA, although if there are Guy Fawkes Night concerts held in the UK, this would likewise be apt. ‘Baal-Moloch’ was written specifically for an informal contest for the best Halloween music held at the Sibelius Music Chat page in 2008. Needless to say, it won!
