Suite Espagnole Op.47, written in 1886, was Albeniz’s first attempt at suite composition consisting of eight folk-like melodies and nationalistic dance movements, referring to Spanish towns and landscapes. Here George Pollen has arranged ‘Seville’ for Brass Quintet. Full of rhythmic charm this is an ideal concert work for the intermediate and advanced ensemble.
