FAQ's

1. How long will my order take?

If the item is available from stock, it will usually be dispatched within 3-4 working days. If out of stock, it will usually be dispatched within 10-14 working days.

2. Do you charge extra for postage & packaging.

Currently we will despatch orders worldwide free of charge. If you require next day delivery an agreed surcharge will be added to your invoice.

3. How can I tell if a Band publication is suitable?

Although we do not normally offer a free perusal service to conductors/music teachers we will send the scores on a perusal invoice for a limited period by request. You then have the option to (a) return the scores and the invoice is cancelled or (b) confirm your wish to purchase the full item and we will cancel the invoice and dispatch the parts with a new invoice.

4. What does the Band Grading mean?

We have adopted the American Band Grading system throughout the site. (Grades 1 to 6). The following is an approximate guide:

• Grades 1-2 (Easy)

• Grades 3-4 (Medium)

• Grades 5-6 (Advanced)

5. Can I photocopy extra parts/extra scores?

We are not able to give permission to photocopy extra parts. However, extra parts and scores can be ordered. Extra parts cost approximately £0.50 each and scores approximately £5.00 each. 

6. Can I write out additional parts or adapt/re-arrange a work in any way?

In order to protect the livelihood of composers and arrangers, we would require confirmation in writing of any proposed alterations, adaptations or extensions. Consent can sometimes be given without charge although this must be agreed in writing.

7. What parts do we supply with each order?

Because we do not charge postage the number of parts supplied is limited to the following. Additional instrumental parts can be purchased seperately at £0.50 each. Additional scores will cost £5.00.
