“The Twelve Days of Christmas” is always popular during the Yuletide season and an opportunity for audience participation or to feature three or four members of the band with large cards depicting each day. Given the pace of the work this nearly always ends great merriment and ultimate disaster. Scored for concert band by Geoff Kingston this new setting is fun personified and sure to be a hit with Christmas concert goers as an encore or band feature. The text is attached to the score and a separate sheet is included with the instrumental parts. Have fun! THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me A Partridge in a pear tree On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me Two turtle doves And a partridge in a pear tree. On the Third day of Christmas my true love sent to me Three French Hens Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. On the fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Four calling birds * Three French Hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. On the fifth day of my true love sent to me Five gold rings Four calling birds, three French Hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. On the sixth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Six geese a laying Five gold rings, four colling birds, three French Hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. On the seventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me Sev’n swans a swimming Six geese a laying, Five gold rings, four calling birds, three French Hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. On the eight day of Christmas my true love sent to me Eight maids a milking Sev’n swans a swimming, six geese a laying, Five gold rings, four calling birds, three French Hens, Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. On the ninth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Nine ladies dancing Eight maids a milking, Sev’n swans a swimming, six geese a laying, Five gold rings, four calling birds, Three French Hens, two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree.
