| About This Work: | “Sunset in Havana”, composed and arranged for Solo Tenor Trombone and Concert Band by Ian Macpherson, was inspired whilst holidaying on the beautiful island of Cuba many years ago. The inspiration for the main theme came while he watched the sun go down in a warm Caribbean seascape. This solo conjures up a great feeling of tranquillity with a light Latin American twist. Beautifully scored this is an enchanting addition to the repertoire and suitable for performers of all abilities.
