About This Work
The theme tune to 'Ladies in Lavender', composed by Nigel Hess, is testament to an extremely talented composer who has written music for dozens of British TV series over the last 20 or so years. He is one of those people who music is immediately familiar (his themes for "Maigret", "Wycliffe", "Campion", "Dangerfield" and "Hetty Wainthrop Investigates" are classics), but who is almost never recognised by the public at large.
'Ladies in Lavender' is now available for Solo Flute and Concert Band. Arranged by Geoff Kingston from Nigel Hess's original score this is a must for your concert and a score that will enchant your audience. Also available as a Violin solo.
