About This Work
"How Great Thou Art", is a Christian Hymn based on a Swedish poem by Gustav Boberg. The melody is a Swedish folk song. It was voted the United Kingdom's favourite hymn by the BBC's 'Songs of Praise' and is ranked second after "Amazing Grace" on a list of the favourite hymns of all time.
This new arrangement by Geoff Kingston and Ian Macpherson is now available, by request, for Concert Band. A beautiful, soulful melody that has been given a new and refreshing breath of life.
