About This Work
‘Enter The Heroes, composed and arranged for Concert Band by Ian Macpherson is inspired by the success of the United Kingdom’s winning bid for the Olympic Games, to be held in London in 2012.
This short Band Fanfare conjures up the Olympic spirit of the games and the feeling of pride the combined nations of the United Kingdom have now and onwards to build up to this spectacular, gladiatorial, event. Full of energy, power this piece is definitely a must for all bands and will make a fitting companion to Spirit of the Games.
