‘Serve to Lead’ (Ducari Servi) is the motto of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. Composed by Geoff Kingston for the 2000 Sovereigns’ Parade, this processional march was judged by the then Academy Adjutant as the ‘the best he has ever heard!’ A framed copy of the score was presented to the Duke of Edinburgh, the inspecting officer, by Geoff, who was then Director of Music of the Royal Artillery Band, after the parade.
A good, solid processional march suitable for a large number celebratory occasions, parades and recessionals.
