About This Work
Tomaso Albinoni, famous in his day as an opera composer, is mainly remembered for his instrumental music, His "Adagio in G Minor", actually a later reconstruction, is one of the most frequently recorded pieces of Baroque music. This arrangement, by Gary Clegg, is ideal as incidental music to a sacred occasion or as a recital piece. Very accessible and stylishly arranged.
