About This Work

Jeremiah Clarke’s Rondeau ‘The Trumpet Voluntary’ is popularly know as the 'The Prince of Denmark's March', survives in ‘A Choice Collection of Ayres’ for the Harpsichord (1700) and in a suite of pieces for wind instruments, This arrangement by Geoff Kingston presents the march in a dramatic setting for full concert band. Ideal as a concert opener or instrumental feature.
