"(Is This the Way to) Amarillo?" written by Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield, refers to Amarillo, Texas. It is about a man travelling to Amarillo to find his fiancée. The reason Sedaka chose Amarillo was that it was the only place name he could think of that rhymed with "willow" and "pillow".
Recorded by Tony Christie and Peter Kay this evergreen, specially arranged for SafeMusic by Kevin Riley, is popular with concert audiences worldwide; a great concert ‘livener’ and fun to perform.
