About This Work
This work is a 'tour de force' for solo Trumpet & Wind Band, contrasting the Hungarian 'gypsy style' of the fast sections, with the 'bluesy' and very melancholic slower sections.
The two vastly opposing Trumpet styles of Rahpael Mendez and Miles Davis come to mind, and here they meet in a musical extravaganza!
This original work from Keith Terrett, would make an excellent item for inclusion on any concert programme, and will present Trumpeters will a challenging new solo for their repertoires.
